Terms of use

The terms on which Discerya is provided — in plain English.

What you confirm when you create an account

  • I have read and agree to the Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy dated 15 September 2026 (revision 2026-09-15.2).
  • I understand that Discerya collects and processes my account details and my learning activity as described in the Privacy Policy, and that questions I ask the AI tutor, and written work I submit for AI feedback, are stored and sent to an AI provider outside the EU to generate a response.
  • I understand that Discerya is not a university, college, or accredited educational institution, and that it does not award certificates, diplomas, degrees, or any regulated qualification.
  • I understand that the course material and the AI tutor's answers are provided on a best-effort basis, may contain errors or omissions, and may become out of date as markets and regulations change.
  • I understand that nothing on Discerya is investment, legal, tax, or valuation advice, and that any decision I take remains my own professional responsibility.
  • I will verify anything I intend to rely on professionally against primary sources before acting on it.

What Discerya is

Discerya is an online learning platform for real estate professionals. It provides written course material, practice exercises, worked examples, templates, and an AI tutor that answers questions about the lesson you are reading.

Discerya is not a university, college, training institute, or accredited educational institution. It does not award certificates, diplomas, degrees, or any regulated qualification, and completing a course here does not confer a professional credential or licence of any kind.

Best-effort content

The course material is written and reviewed by the curriculum team on a best-effort basis. Real estate markets, regulations, tax treatments, and professional standards differ by country and change over time. Material that was accurate when written may be wrong for your market, or wrong by the time you read it.

We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or free from error. If you find a mistake, telling us at mahmoud.nassef@heirstoneconsulting.com is the fastest way to get it fixed.

The AI tutor

The AI tutor generates its answers with a large language model. It can be confidently wrong, misread a question, or produce a figure that looks plausible and is not. Treat its answers as a study aid, never as a source.

Questions you ask are stored and are sent to an AI provider outside the European Union to generate the answer. What is collected and why is set out in the Privacy Policy. Please do not type personal information, client details, or confidential material into it.

Not professional advice

Nothing on Discerya — course material, worked examples, templates, simulations, or AI tutor answers — is investment, legal, tax, valuation, or other professional advice, and no adviser-client relationship is created by using it. Every professional judgement you make remains yours. Verify anything you intend to rely on against primary sources, and take qualified advice where the decision warrants it.

Your account

Your account is personal to you. Sharing your login, or using one subscription across several people, is not permitted — we count the number of devices signed in to an account for this reason.

Course material is our intellectual property and is licensed to you for your own professional development. You may not redistribute, republish, or resell it, or use it to build a competing course. Lesson pages carry a marker identifying the account they were served to.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-months.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available, but it may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of a fault at one of the services it depends on. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Ending an account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or close an account that shares credentials, redistributes course material, or attempts to disrupt or extract data from the platform.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects what you agreed to, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. The version you accepted is recorded against your account, together with the exact wording you were shown.
