Role track
Corporate Real Estate / Occupier Team
Run a portfolio that serves the business, not the landlord.
Required sequence
Do these in orderOccupier & Tenant Representation
Advising occupiers and representing tenants: reading the occupier's business need, defining requirements, comparing stay-vs-go and lease-vs-own, negotiating on the tenant's behalf, delivering the fit-out and move, controlling occupancy cost in use, and moving from a single transaction to a portfolio strategy.
Commercial Leasing & Value
How leases, tenant mix and covenant strength drive commercial value — and how to negotiate and manage a lease across its whole life. Reading a lease for what it actually obliges, separating headline from effective rent, weighing covenant and WAULT, building tenant mix as an income decision, negotiating terms and heads of terms from either side of the table, and running the reviews, consents, arrears, breaks and dilapidations that decide what a tenancy is finally worth. Ends with an applied toolkit of templates and two worked cases.
Office Studio: Occupier Demand & Grade-A Value
Apply the core real estate toolkit to the office asset class: what drives office demand, the occupier and the workplace, office leasing and value, how to read regional office markets from Riyadh's RHQ-driven Grade-A shortage to Cairo and the wider GCC, and then the owner's side — diagnosing and repositioning an underperforming building, judging flexible space and operational income, and underwriting an acquisition.
Optional depth
Add these to specialise once the core sequence is done.
ESG & Sustainability in Real Estate
What ESG means for real estate value and how to act on it — energy and carbon, certifications, social and governance factors, the business case for retrofit, climate and transition risk at asset level, water and embodied carbon, and ESG in the transaction and across a portfolio, with Gulf and emerging-market realities.
Logistics & Industrial Studio: The Last-Mile Engine
Apply the toolkit to logistics and industrial real estate across seven modules: the demand drivers behind take-up including cold chain and specialist uses, the building typologies and specification that decide suitability, leasing, covenant and the review mechanisms that capture growth, the regional markets of the GCC, KSA, UAE and Egypt, developing logistics space from site to delivery, automation and the occupier cost stack, and pricing, underwriting and exit.
What you produce
Final project
A portfolio occupancy strategy — space demand, lease events, consolidation options, and a cost plan.
Add your market. Pair any track with a Regional Market Structure course (Egypt, KSA, UAE & GCC, Morocco, Africa, MENA, or UK & Europe) so the skills land in the market you actually work in.
